What exactly I do here?

Welcome back to another "not really long story" with me haha..

So today, I would like to tell you all (cieeee haha) about what exactly I will do here in Thailand for a month.

I am going to be a pre-service student teacher under SEAMEO on a program called SEA-Teacher (South East Asia Teacher) batch 3 start from January 2017 to February 2017. I know that's quite short time, but i do believe it will give all of us unforgettable memories.

So, SEAMEO (South East Asia Ministers of Education Organization) throws a program called SEA-Teacher (South East Asia Teachers). This program aims to prepare student teachers to face the reality how exactly it feels to teach in a real school (especially as foreign teacher). Three countries join this program since 2016. Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippine. This program is really full of benefits! I will make a list about some of the benefits for you (just in case you want to know haha, but it's 100% my personal opinions).

1) You will have opportunity to explore ASEAN countries (especially Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippine). It will open your mind because you're out of your comfort zone. The cultures, the languages, everything. It will help you to become more independent than before.

2) You will have more friends outside your country. It will also help you to learn and practice your English. Because on this program, even the fellow Indonesian speak English. It will challenge you at the first, but after you can adapt, nothing could handle you anymore haha.

3) You will get unforgettable experiences. I know maybe some of student teachers also doing teaching practices in their country, but it's different!! Just like this one: when your mentor assign you in non-English class you need to speak really slow so they could understand. You can't speak your mother language so I know it will be a little difficult to explain something (the materials) especially in science subjects. But, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! It will be your own investments that you'll never regret!
